Steve Aoki opens the doors to his studio, the Neon Future Cave

Legendary producer Steve Aoki opened the doors of his Las Vegas home and studio to take us on a tour while sharing his favorite synths, production ethos, and approach to collaboration.
We worked with him to craft Serum presets representing his favorite sounds across the wide range of genres he's worked in, from reggaeton to trance to EDM bangers and pop collabs for Splice creators.

Not only have Aoki's albums topped charts, his debut album, Wonderland, received a Grammy nomination for Best Dance/Electronic Album in 2013. He's collaborated with artists such as will.i.am, Afrojack, Iggy Azalea, Lil Jon, blink-182, Laidback Luke, BTS, Rise Against, Lauren Jauregui, and Fall Out Boy.
Aoki said, "this is a great pack for any producer in the dance world. Exploring it is an exciting process because when you jump into different genres, from hip hop to Latin to K-pop, you're hearing all the different sounds and how it all works."

He's kinda not wrong. You could do most of the same things in any synthesizer. Example: If I wanted old Analogue detuning, I could just throw a slow LFO on the parameter controlling pitch in cents. And I could apply choas knob to it too. So I can get a random pitch in cents each press.

@@tomblaze2 Lol, you clearly don't know nothing about Steve Aoki's life, his dad gave him nothing, he had to work hard for it, there's a documentary about him on Netflix and he truly is a hard worker, he hold records as being the musician who has travelled more in a single year doing shows, he's a non stop machine of making music, having fun and performing, he has earned all he got, props to him, a little bit of research before talking doesn't hurt anyone :)

Props to Aoki, he deserves to be where he is, you might like him or not, but he has worked his butt off to be where he is, making name being seen as the "asian kid son of the owner of Benihanas" had to be a very hard thing to do, and he managed to do it, so stop hating on someone who has worked A LOT to earn all that he has, period.
