My man! Thank you so very much. Truth is, having worked with Eddie on at least a half dozen occasions later on in his career, I froze in my tracks a week ago while shopping in the supermarket in Brooklyn when Take Me Home Tonight came on what used to be the "Muzak" channel. I literally stood motionless reveling in the performance, hung on every lyric until the end on the song. Needless to say with a grin from ear to ear. I appreciate both you and Arnel as I started being a journey fan in 2003 and so my loyalty is to Steve augeri but I understand things happen and that we don’t know entire stories and arnel had a really rough job taking over such big shoes so props to him and I appreciate both unique sounds. Booked tickets to see journey on the strength of seeing you Steve. Which wud av been 2000/2001 arrival tour. Only for the day to arrive (no pun intended) to find out that you ad been replaced by jss. a good singer in his own but ur journey fit was poetry. To me. The arrival album which I played so many times nd thought it was at the top of anything I would ever hear again. It sent real life shivers. So missing u that night. Devasted me. Great song by a fantastic singer. I have been fortunate enough to see Journey live seven times and the 2001 "Arrival" show was second only to the '83 "Frontiers" show. Hearing Augeri perform "Message Of Love" was mindblowing. So sorry that version of the band didn't last!
