The rise of US came with rule of law.....really? Native Americans would disagree completely. And the world of freedom and democracy? I think that means the white males to do whatever they want against others. Look at Hawaii...completely taken over economically under free trade tag line and then taken over by covert military operations....against a peaceful sovereignty.

Steven basically believed that China’s state capitalism system is more competitive than American’s capitalism system. So the best way to win the battle is to force the Chinese to change its system to American system. Personally, I think it would be extremely difficult accomplish the goal.

@steve crawford he did not say china is corrupt and rotten to the core. what he said is that the policies in china are not in favor of america and at this rate it will threaten america's place as the leading economic power in the world. and trump is trying to stop that. basically " i wanna be number 1"

Regarding China per Steve Bannon - I agree with everything he said. It was obvious that from the start that China was acting in bad faith by their requirements that foreign companies hire Chinese managers and that they “share their trade secrets “ in order to have the Chinese gov give them the OK to operate -- as the Chinese dangled to these firms the bait of selling to the massive Chinese market. Meanwhile a few years after their markets opened under these requirements- the foreign Manufacturers Association in China began complaining about China subsidizing their home based companies and subtle Chinese pressure on their citizens to buy Chinese made products over foreign products. Bannon hit it on the head when he said that’s it greed of the big US manufacturers (plus their banks/financiers & their lobbyists/ owned politicians) that has allowed this situation to expand. As for Chinese government- how else would they be able to quickly transform their 3rd world 1970’s government where 90% of the people rode bicycles into the economy it is today # 2 in the world ! They have to rob, steal, manipulate every thing the can from the Western sphere in order to up lift their massive population. U.N. stats show that world poverty rates have gone done tremendously since the 1970’s. At the same time only idiots would condone getting robbed and over time helping to create a major potential military threat.

That said what Steve Bannon is building in Europe with his Far Right movement- ( Academy in Italy). Should cause him to be jailed for prepping the way to another WW3. Or maybe his design is to help these groups in each EU country to grow and pursue the breakup of the EU all together-. This was a thread of topic in US political talk back in the early 1990’s as the EU was forming and that .org was talking about their own currency- which many saw as a rival to the Dollar’s global power.

4 trillion dollar balance sheet at the Fed....that’s a free market system? I don’t think so
@chfgbp60985 жыл бұрын
Yes. That s the number one biggest delusion (that we the West has free market capitalism) that s going to kill us all.
@annliu76405 жыл бұрын
chf gbp There is honestly no free market anywhere. And markets are not supposed to be free. Look at Canada, we have a free market and our economy is in the hand of USA. Gonna swallow USMCA and tariffs from USA for nothing I guess.
@indigocolossus5 жыл бұрын
Ann Liu that’s the fault of Canada’s PM. He was jerking trump around until Mexico made a deal with the US, then Canada signed up to that deal as to not be left out, terrible PM. That’s why it’s the USM deal then Canada at the tail end.

What’s the difference between treasury bills, fed balance sheet debt, not allot. It’s all just debt. But us is the country that is allowing the most free trade compared to countries like China. When you make the statement that fed balance sheet isn’t free market capitalism you are attempting to conflate two issues

Just fold Hong Kong into China completely probably in the next two or three years. No more Hong Kong dollar, Western style democracy and freedom. Just one big city in China under the one country one system. For those Hong Kong youth that will be making too much of trouble, just sent them into the country side in China to get them them to live a down to earth life style and re-educate them on the Socialism with Chinese Characteristics.

@shanehartley4845 жыл бұрын
60 mins australia, we are change, Real news is possible if news is sourced and fact checking is possible. The way the system currently works real news is few and far between and difficult to confirm. Fox has started to report some real news but it could be just coincidence because it is partisan. When whistleblowers are criminals and news media is based on rating we get entertainment on the nightly news. Ratings can never take presidence over accuracy, facts, neutrality, accountability (done thru sourced reports no more anonymous sources unless they are prosecuted when they are wrong). Anonymous sources are guranteed to be true, what are they using as thier collateral for this guarantee? Trust. Then take it away, if we don't it happens over and over as is our current reality. And people put their hands up and say nothing can be done??? Corruption must be removed from media. 5G has the potiential to enslave humanity. It is a surveillence and populaton control and modifcation system. Once the network goes live resistance is futile. Risk vs Reward. Health and weather forecasting will also be negative effects.

I agree with many of their points. But how could Kyle Bass say the financial agreement made between the US and HK in the early 90's was based partly on that HK "must keep a free democracy". HK didn't have any "free democracy" from the opium war to the early 90's as a British colony. How could they "keep a free democracy" when they didn't have it in the first place.
