@@iggyeo6458 I would agree during previous administrations. But Trump enablers lie constantly and support his obviously pathological lying. Did not like Bush II, but understood hearing his supporters viewpoints. Trump's bullshit is unprecedented and damaging to our country. Jack Gordon whoa! that's awfully presumptuous of you to say that. did I vote for him? nope. do I like him on a personal level? not even remotely. would i like him to run again? honestly, after the general shit storm created in the country stemming from it, added with the extra fuel he consistently throws on the fire.. id much rather prefer mass extinction to his re-election campaign. that said, yes.. i do support him.. because he is the fucking President of the United States, and not supporting him would be like saying you don't like your pilot so you hope the plane crashes and kills you and everyone else on board just to prove your point. you can have an absolute dislike for someone but still want them to succeed, as the two are not mutually exclusive, and thinking to the contrary is the problem with this "left, right" bullshit encouraged by our elected government officials on both sides of the fence to keep us at one another's throats. we are multi-dimentional humans with such deep and differing ideas ideals and personalities, and placing yourself on one side, the other, or somewhere off in the middle is thinking from some intellectual dark age i really wish we could get ourselves out of. the future of the human race depends on us.. let's try not embarrass our descendants.

As if no other opinion matters. Very sad for the nation really. But the founding fathers set up the system brilliantly, albeit with many flaws which were unavoidable, and it's that system that will see this divisive politics come together once again to make real meaningful change at some point. @Mark Penland democratic socialism is not the socialism of venezuela. we are a democracy. we have socialism in many forms, including medicare, k-12 education, and our interstate highway system. do you drive our roads and do your kids attend public school? that's socialism, pure and simple. but what company is going to invest in our crumbling infrastructure? none. that is why the one area where dems and repubs most seem to agree is the infrastructure bill, which is a socialist investment in our future. few have suggested we privatise these roads and bridges. overwhelmingly, on both sides of the aisle, the Government plans to continue their ownership of this infrastructure, and upgrade it. let's hope this socialist investment passes both chambers and trump signs the socialist bill, not only so we can be innovators again where it comes to transportation, but also so our workers can actually get to work safely. this is hardly trivial, because, as you've said, many of their livelihoods depend on those public roads.

davyd mayson hyll Venezuela has cleaner elections than the USA. Democracy will fix the economy if and when we remove rigs like Interstate Crosscheck and whatever con Koch & Kobach come up with next. "Double voters" is a lie used to cancel voter registrations by the millions. The "statistical anomalies" in the 2016 POTUS race reflect the difference between who voted and whose votes were counted. That is the rig and that is why they made up a bunch of bullshit to cover it up -- both parties want to keep the rig because it keeps the corrupt leadership of both parties in power. Clean up the elections and let democracy straighten out the economy. We The People don't want the shit either party (or Koch's bullshit version of "libertarianism") offers. With clean elections we'll be able to get better people working FOR THE PEOPLE and cleaning up the mess of war profiteering and get financial gambling addicts the hell back out of people's pockets. Kleptocracy will die by pitchfork if not by ballot.

Actually as an economist, I think he doesn't know anything about our economy. First off, trickle down economics is a scam. Any gains or benefits are a facade and a short term outcome. The trade war has already devestated our agriculture market (the government had to bail them out with billions of dollars, which is not mentioned anywhere in the media). Might want to brush up on the Hecksher-Olhin model regarding the modern theory of comparative advantage and the effects of a sudden increase in tariffs. Many many economists have also come out saying Trump's economic policies will result in around a .04% decline in US GDP which is equivalent to over $10 + billion. Seems like none of you average Americans understand economic consequences and believe everything politicians and media have to say. It's a shame.

The thing is.. is that Dennis KUCINICH back in 04 talked about rewriting the trade deals. SO yeah, I get it. I don't like China and sure, they have been pretty bad. However, the tax cuts (which are permanent for the top !% and expires for the rest of us are not really helping. Gas is averaging 3 to3.50 a gallon and prices for other things are going up too so whatever small tax cut I was given is lost in that!. TRUMP's OTHER policies are bad though. The Deregulation is bad! Sorry.. but when you weaken regulations on pollution and industry waste or workers rights you have issues. Women's rights, gay rights.. THOSE are critically important!. Trump's coal mining support is ridiculous. He just rolled back regulations on Coal mining waste and in Martin CTY KY in 2000 they had their water source polluted by a coal ash disaster and still don't have clean drinking water!. YET they still voted for Trump and he just gave the green light for the coal companies to keep polluting!! WTF?? @sorsocksfake
@sorsocksfake 6 жыл бұрын
Both perspective are needed. Without leftwing economics, the poor will have every reason to revolt. Without rightwing economics, there won't be any economy to support the social safety net. Likewise on social issues, we need the left to consider new expansions... and we need the right to stop or reverse any dumb ideas. We need a strong military to keep the world safe. We also need restraint so that we don't become tyrants (Trump seems good on both sides of that btw). The two parties are both needed. Hence obstructionism is so bad... if you always say no, then why would the other side even try to compromise? Let alone declaring 'the end of civility...until we're in power again'. But I have no idea why the establishment left still worships Clinton... she should've been done, after rigging the primary.

I really did not htink that all that much was said at all. A few questions were raised, yeah. But Bannon never answered the questions Bill raised. He only talked about what he wanted. Bannon had his own agenda of why he visited the show and got that done and left again. Bill should have puhed him much more! A little wasted this wohle thing.

Bannon has been unfairly demonized by the PC left... as a Democrat I disagree with that guy on most issues but it's a policy thing, not a personal thing (unlike with Trump)... I'd be honored if some fellow Bill Maher fans would check out my acoustic piano & vocal covers of 80s/90s classic songs on my channel. Covers include Sting, Prince, George Michael, Radiohead, Pete Townshend, the GooGoo Dolls, Sarah McClachlan, Billy Joel, Earth Wind & Fire, plus a couple of '010s classics from Bruno Mars and Coldplay. Live acoustic with no autotune. Thanks and peace.

As an Independent voter I always thought Bannon was this angry and bad boy kind of fellow. But he actually made some really strong points and was very intellectual.

@@terilandi6269 when he said these measures are bringing manufacturing back fo america? If raw materials are more expensive to import (steel) and final goods are too expensive to export (foreign tariffs on American goods), how will that bring jobs back to America exactly?

@drewfleming5584 6 жыл бұрын
@@terilandi6269 all he did was repeat conservative talking points which are built on lies. Literally the only positive that one can claim Trump has been responsible for is the economy; but call me crazy, I tend to think the previous President's 8 years in office has a much bigger influence on the current econmy than the year and a half under Trump(I'm not saying Trump hasn't had an influence on this.). Although, a lot of economists seem very sure that a crash is coming as a result of Trumps' policies and there's also that whole massive deficit being rung up by Trump that republicans used to dwell on but now have conveniently forgotten about. Outside of the economy I feel like he is the biggest disaster this country has ever seen.

we LIBS never chicken out of a debate. ONLY conservatives do (ex: Adolf, who slams liberalism over and over in Mein Kampf), ala GOP TROLL Hillary The War Criminal And Homophobe Clinton. I'm a lib. I've never once choked on debating an opponent, yet my opponents ALWAYS CHOKE ON DEBATING THEIR OPPONENTS. Curious pattern, no? WHOMEVER BELIEVES THEIR FACTS WILL ALWAYS DEBATE THE ENEMY. That's why Adolf and Hillary and FOX hated debates.
