I think an underrated part of this level is that a lot of the set ups had "fail safes" that activated whenever you fell for a previous troll. Like at the ending where if you got one power up it would immediately deactivate so you didn't see the fire flower or frog suit unless you dodged the other ones.

This is one of the funniest game play vids I have ever seen. The slope logic with falling fish was classic, directly followed by the pow block crush death (larl self troll) made everything beyond hilarious 🤣 All the other frustrating repeated parts were super funny. I love how Carl always manages to troll himself, then get trolled in the exact same way by the level. He's predicting the trolls subconsciously but in a way that he not only doesn't dodge them, but gets trolled by them twice.
