I’ve always found the Dubois setup to be a bit odd. The lad quite clearly doesn’t make any decisions for himself, either because he’s not allowed to or because he’s not capable. So who’s really looking after his best interests? His dad is obviously heavily involved and Don Charles is known to not be the easiest person to work with, but you can’t be messing with the training team which has previously worked so well before the biggest fight of his life.

@@ExecutionerHopkins I don't know how true this is, but the dad allegedly kicked his sister Caroline out of their family home because he wanted both of them to leave Shane Mcguigan, she put her foot down and chose to keep training with Shane and now none of the family speak to her. So Daniel is most likely controlled in the same way.
