As an Ipswich Town supporter I have been following Fabio from the second or third professional fight, and I am used to him being under estimated and hearing that he has now reached a level beyond him. I think both fighters are hard not to like, and they clearly have respect for each other, although Frazer thought Fabio was over estimating his own ability. I might be biased but I thought Fabio won the first fight, which was a tremendous fight. My understanding is that Frazer Clarke has young children, so I would be happier if he did retire, and the irony is whilst he has a massive amateur record, Fabio is way more experienced as a professional. Fabio does seem to be able to take a good shot, and hits like a demon, so I see no harm in Frazer losing to him. People keep saying he s nowhere near world level, yet I disagree, and think Fabio, Bakole, Itauma and Dubois are the coming top four, fighting for the titles in the not too distant future. Most boxing fights are won before you enter that ring. Boxing is 80% psychological and 20% physical and Johnny Nelson was incorrect. Fraser Clarke in getting up from his seat and initiating a handshake at that press conference would have given Wardley a psychological advantage - and yes that goes a long long way. It showed a capitulation even before the fight started- it sounds harsh but that is the reality of such behaviour. Lets shake hands after we fight and not before. Fraser Clarke has a lot of lessons to learn still.

They weren't next to each other and felt obliged to shake hands. Fraser Clarke, left his seating position, walked over towards Wardley who remained seated at this point, but got up eventually to meet Fraser for the handshake. Personally for me, it showed Cowardice and Capitulation. Wardley knew he had him at this point.
