spot on about players working hard, even if it is to impress future employers should they leave us in the summer. one of the things I've found hardest to understand about the lack of passion, desire, work rate this season is surely it's only making yourself look bad... regardless of how you felt about previous managers/systems lack of effort only negatively affects their future job prospects.

Bluenose here. Great football man, always admired him but hoping his inspirational style doesn’t kick in till next week. Hope Millers come straight back but hope Blues go up to the Prem in the meantime. Looking forward to Saturday night when I can wash the skidmarks out of my pants.

My Bluenose mate in Devon, thinks the same, bt things have changed as in b4 Evans I wanted Blues to win n help keep Pigs in relegation zone, makes us Millers happy, bt I'm scared he's gonna motivate the team n I'm scared we mite get summat. Just listening to him speak is a breath of fresh air his passion & determination is second to none, forget the politician speeches we’ve been listening too from the last 2 managers we may see the team play with some identity again now, putting everything on the line for the badge

And he's off and running. 7 min 30, his first whinge about a referee. Get used to it. He'll be crying about injustices and vendettas against Rotherham every week once the new season starts.
