Just discovered this fellow literally all of minutes ago, and, instantly, am, like?! How in the name of Grace have I never heard of Steve before??? OmG!!! Such a timeless, haunting, voice, with words that cut as deep as a soul goes! Wow!!! Only Jeff Buckley, and so few others, have given me blessed goosebumps like this. This Forbert fellow is the real deal! Just, Wow!

This is gonna sound strange, but this song convinced me to move to Atlanta. In 80' I was living in Cleveland, but I realized that I needed a change from the nasty Northern weather. I kept hearing this awesome tune, plus when he says, " bring me Southern kisses from your room". I kept romanticizing about meeting a real Southern girl, so it has been 41 years and I haven't looked back since. Oh yeah, I sure met my share of beautiful Southern girls. Great tune...
