My mother didn't want me, she left me with nothing and I was placed into the system, no one believed in me, I was alone, lived in a homeless shelter south jamaica queens, surroundedby drug dealers and gangstas, some even say that i wasnt suppose to be make it or maybe id end up in a prison cell, was broke and chose sleeping in the train in New york instead of that rathole of a homeless shelter, I thought that I had nothing, but the secret to coming out of it was believing that someday I'd prove everyone wrong and show the world, that some broke kid from the hood would come out on top. God was with me all the way.

I went to one of his final Family Fued tapings here in Atlanta. Two things that really popped off for me there. The party in between takes with the hype man (music was great we danced and went down memory lane jamming while laughing at the hype man’s comedic yet smooth dance moves). Then, the talks that Mr. Harvey would have with us (the audience) off air. It was a profound moment! He’d walk up close to us, talk that talk and you could hear a pen drop. Writing the vision down and making it plain like the word of God says is profound! I’ve received so many things over the years from doing so. It was also therapy for me growing up in foster care. Still is a great tool that I’ll do until I can’t do it anymore! I’ve wrote songs, books, poetry and even plays. He’s got some good gems in this well put together clip. Take what resonates with you and run with it!
