These women don't understand what he means by shinning it's not about what shoes clothes or perfume well at least my opinion is that shinny is about how a women expresses herself it's about confidence for her knowing she is beautiful because a woman can be shinning without dressing up when a man is attracted he can see the shine no matter what they are wearing

He opens doors for me, helps me carry in groceries or anything else that I have a lot of and pays the dinner bill 99% of the time. The one percent he hates asking me to pay but when he does, it for small things like ice-cream. He won't make a major decision on anything until he has talked to me about it first.

Atheists are not immoral people. If you meet an Atheist, You may be talking to a person who thinks for themselves and has just as much of a bright future as any Christian. (or even more)
@courtneyhawkins40728 жыл бұрын
He means that atheists have no absolutes meaning nothing is absolutely wrong or absolutely right because we came from nothing according to the atheist. So by that logic as himself being a Christian man he is giving advice on his beliefs just as you have the right to give advice from your atheists views.
@shaun80628 жыл бұрын
courtney hawkins Atheists can believe in anything. Atheists reject one view, so there is nothing "according to Atheists". Atheists don't believe in the religious God figure of all the religions in this world. They do not have to believe we came from nothing. (I have never heard that in my life from an Atheist) (What's your problem LOL) . No one said he didn't have a right to give advice. I am giving my feedback. Is that ok? Do I have a right to give my feedback?
@Sin3558 жыл бұрын
100% agreed. The misconception about Atheists being immoral and for some reason not worth engaging with like any other human being is disgusting. I am an Atheist and have more of a moral compass than mostly anyone I know.

Well my mother is a Christian and my dad is an atheist, it never worked. My mother has only ever been with my dad he was her first. A few years back mum found out he had been cheating on her the whole time when he slipped and left evidence. My mum could handle his drugs and alcohol but not the cheating. She was very innocent back in the days she doesn't smoke or drink but her mother didn't teach her about men and my poor mother has been abused physically and mentally. My father hit my mother when she was pregnant, I remember all my child hood us running to women's refuge because my father was beating up my mother. I liked womens refuge because i felt safe but I was scared because I knew mum always went back because no family or friends would help us. It was mums good values such as telling us to pray before meals, talk to God tell him your troubles, dropping us off at Sunday school where I learnt about Jesus and him loving me. I felt I could tell Jesus anything because my own father was smoking pot up the big tree out the back or was never there. He did help me with my homework a few times tho when he wasn't stoned or drunk. I felt comforted when I talked to Jesus and still do. You see all people are sinners even Christians but the difference is we recognise it and give it all to God we change to become a better person In Christs eyes. The reason why I say Christs eyes is because if I say in humans eyes everybody has a different perception of right and wrong. As a Christian woman it's better to seek a man that is after Gods heart first. My testimony wasn't to say atheists are bad but that my mother and father had different ways and that created a lot of conflict. You may say my mother would of been happier with an atheist but they still wouldn't of got along for the fact raising kids,, what would you teach your kids if you both don't agree on the same things? You can't pray together as husband or wife or as a family. You may be upset about what this man has said but it's the truth. Would you guys go out with a Christian girl that is actually living the Christian life? Would you wait until marriage to be with her? Would you listen to her if she wanted you to pray with her? You cannot love all of her if you don't love the one whom she loves. You may think you can but from experience I am saying my first bf was an atheist I have had no other bf since. I gave him a chance but we disagreed about a lot of things. The things he watched he thought was fine but I didnt agree with it so I didn't let him watch those movies. I didn't like him drinking because it brings back bad memories and I don't drink myself. He wanted to have sex with me but I wanted to wait. He said its natural and that's what all couples do and that he loves me. I wanted him to come to church with me but he didn't want to. Many more things so I'm not saying atheist and Christians can't be together but it's like when people say pick somebody where you have lots in common with. If an atheist man said be with an atheist girl becAuse they have more morals and values then yall wouldn't be commenting.
@Sin3558 жыл бұрын
courtney hawkins Hello Courtney. I'm sorry about how your father failed your mother, you and himself. As an Atheist who was brought up in a religious home where abuse and alcoholism was acceptable, it's clear to me that ANYONE can suffer from the consequences of a bad person. (religious or not) After hearing countless stories of well respected priests molesting children it's very possible for anyone to "fall from grace". Assuming something about someone based off of their religious affiliation is a waste of time. Actions speak louder than words. (at least, in my opinion) As for your relationship with an Atheist bf, it seems like you're the one who refused to accept his choices to remain an Atheist. I understand you wanted him to chose your god and accept jesus into his heart, however, from someone who's been with my partner for over 10 years now, (my first and last) it's all about compromise and accepting someone as they are instead of trying to change them to suit our needs/wants. Maybe having an absent, alcoholic father has caused your expectations from a partner to be unrealistic. If an Atheist man said be with an Atheist girl I would absolutely be commenting because like I said before, nobody should be deemed good or bad based off of their religious affiliation. (or lack thereof)

This is ridiculous. A woman shouldn't have to look all pretty for a man In order to keep him. If I want to wear a Tshirt and sweats, I will, and if any guy wants to leave me for that reason, I will personally open the door for him. Women, men like confidence. If you show that you have confidence and respect yourself he will find that attractive. Yes, putting on some mascara or straightening/curling your hair to look more decent would be nice! But you don't have to worry about your nails being perfect, if you smell like lavender or vanilla, wearing heels, and ect. If you treat a man right, stay loyal, don't nag, and be loving towards him, that should be enough for a man to stay! Not all this vanilla, different shoes, collar bone nonsense!!
@mikeskinner779510 жыл бұрын
I think you are projecting. Women seem to highly value confidence, and many (not all) seem to say that if a man approaches a woman with confidence that it's incredibly attractive, and a nervousness is a turn off. Men on the other hand tend to be more forgiving of a woman being nervous. I'm not saying that men are better people than women, I'm just saying that when it comes to a lack of confidence men will overlook that for other qualities a woman may possess.
@Hypercube17299 жыл бұрын

Every individual is different, but I'd say in general, when a guy is seriously looking for a real relationship they want someone that they are attracted to, but that also respects them and their aspirations in life. They may do the lovey dovey stuff because that's what women like, but men feel loved when you respect their ideas and opinions (obviously this is all within reason). A good man who is respected will always care for their woman, and won't abuse that respect and support. Obviously some people are different, but i've found this to be true in many ways. I'd like to hear your opinion. Please be kind.

I'm really scared that the message being sent to woman is that they need to change themselves and be "bright and shiny" in order to get a man, as well as the message that you even NEED to "get" a man. Why doesn't he spend as much time telling women how important an education is as he does telling them to act like a lady? This is a terrible example to young girls that grow up thinking that the decisions they make need to be revolved around attracting men...I can't believe people are okay with this message
@BeautifulOnes8762 жыл бұрын
That you imply there’s something wrong with God’s nature doing what it’s designed to do to keep life on Earth continuing is what’s wrong. And educated woman will want a good man to sharing a loving bond and their lives. An educated man will want a good woman and like every other mating creature on earth will want to make himself attractive her. Together, the miracle of new life is created between the two. Don’t act like you value education while you bash fundamental “Duh” level science that’s NOTHING to be shamed. Go heal yourself and stop spreading bitterness.

It's not good making women think that doing this will Keep a Man from Cheating, falling for someone else Or leaving. *_Once they're used to the Woman's looks and ready for something New they DON'T SEE YOUR BRIGHT & SHINY_** 24/7* anymore. They don't want it. Do you not see all the women who keep themselves Bright & Shiny having all types of Man issues? Even being a Good, Decent and Loving Person alone doesn't help. *It's mainly about a Woman knowing what she needs and being very Well-rounded, Confident, Cultured, Fun, Educated, Kind, with Self-Respect―to be Fine without a Man―if it doesn't work out.* Know what you want. About the build the boyfriend thing I mean I understand women should have standards but standards and a wish list are two different things and as women we should not expect our men to complete us. We spend so much time building up the perfect man in our minds and what happens is he may not be the perfect man but he is the best thing for us. When I met my bf I was shocked that all my preconceived notions were blown apart because I wasn't dealing with an idea but a human being with thoughts and emotions as well though similar to mine also completely different. So the same way we want to be given a chance we should give them that chance as well to be flawed and work together to be the best you can be together. BTW getting married next year :)

Because he's seeing the world as it is. God bless you for waiting till marriage; that's just not the position taken by everyone else. If the odds are pretty good that sex is not something that most people take off of the table, 3 months is a pretty decent rule of thumb to go by. would likely weed out a decent amount of the straight-up losers.
@MariahMC10 жыл бұрын
You know damn well people are not going to wait till marriage to have sex
@phedreviverette575310 жыл бұрын
Mariah MC You may not wait till marriage, but the true people of God will. The Bible said, If you cannot contain, than its better to marry than to burn. The Bible also said no fornicator nor adultery shall enter into Heaven. People who are spiritually blind and reprobate cannot fathom this. When you are saved, sanctified, and filled with the Holy Ghost, you are empowered to do so, and you can do all things through Christ, who strengthens you. Steve Harvey claim to be a man of God. If he's a true man of God than why is he teaching people sex before marriage? The Bible said many false prophets have come. You will know them by the fruit they bare. You should pray and ask God to forgive you of your sins including fornication, then ask Him to fill you with His Holy Spirit, so that you can be empowered to do all things through Christ. Then, read your Bible, and pray for understanding, and wisdom.

Wait until you are married!! I know a lot of happy people who did. You can weed out the on ones who are not serious or really willing to sacrifice for you. You can get to be friends. The wedding night is actually special and exciting. The man will make up his mind about marrying or leaving quickly and you there are less regrets and wasted time. Steve says 90 days, God says marriage...who you gonna trust??

No shade it seem like its too much to be in a relationship these days that's why so many people rather be single or rather sleep around with so many people sad.

I agree with the dating with the kids. You don't waisted time with someone who isn't good for or with your kids. And you have your look for fakeness on his part that's your red flag.

I know right? I would ALWAYS split the bill and pay for my food. It's common courtesy. Also Women already have equal rights in North America btw , this feminist bullshit has gone too far. They should focus their campaign on countries like China or Pakistan.
