I was 48 when my kids were taken by DPS because of my addiction to Drugs, alcohol and an abusive relationship. I did not know how to get out. This is so true. Nothing I have ever done in life that mattered happened on its own. Sometimes you have to take a deep breath, have faith, and take the leap. I just did again. Don't rush the process. Trust the plan. God's timing is perfect. He won't provide you with an opportunity unless He knows you can handle it. Don't hesitate like I used to. Take the risk, be bold, be courageous. My friend sent me this video over 4 years ago and it resignated with me. I was miserable at my job and felt certain that I had greater purpose but couldn't see away out of my situation. Well, I decided to "jump". I resigned from my job and as Steve warned us, my parachute did not open. It became really challenging. I became doubtful and struggled with self-worth but I kept moving. Eventually my parachute opened and now I am doing what I am purposed to do. This took years, sacrifice, tears and faith. I had to cry to keep going but I made it. Through the grace of God, I am still making it. As Steve also said, "God will hold you up!" The Bible says that faith without works is dead. Make sure your faith aligns with action. Today with the help of God I have acquired some things that I have longed for. I am greatful for my friend who shared this message and also appreciative to Steve for prividing such insight, wisdom and motivation. In conclusion, trust God in all things, acknowledge him and he will direct your path.

I jump 5 years ago after watching this video. Open my own auto repair shop. Steve was right the first 3 month's in business was slow but after all the cuts and bruises my business took off. Using his gift at the workplace to share the bible. When I am in the truck across North America I key up the cb radio and share the gospel to rough truck drivers. If they live on the road 365 days a year how do you reach these truckers? We must use what God gives us to share the gospel. Who else will do it? How did you get saved? Did not God send another to you to share the saving message? By one's obedience to the gospel, you were saved. But in the end, the one who waters and other sows both receive their reward but it is God who gets the glory and causes the increase. Great to see the host of this show is using his gift!

Brought tears to my eyes. You see I don't know if I have a gift I've stayed awake for hours on end even cried myself to sleep. I'm a good person I work 70 hours a week and have two jobs and I'm still in financial hell. I don't spend stupid just had some things go wrong and now I don't know what to do just not enough coming in. Am I smart? no I am a good person but that does not pay the bills. I see no light at the end of the tunnel I'm sad I have let many people down but letting myself down hurts the most. I hope I can find my gift. I remember working as an engineer, eating lunch in my car looking out over Lake Erie watching the waves crash and birds soar, listening to this video over and over and over... nearly a year ago I put in my notice to go all in on my pressure washing business. I left on good terms that may. A week after I left that company had a huge layoff that would have canned me had I not jumped. The week after that, I had my first 10K earning week. Luckily for me I can count on both hands the amount of times I woke up in the morning hating going to work. I traveled around the country for about 5 years doing construction, worked in Erie for about 2 weeks.
