A great player and one of my favourite Liverpool players. Stevie Heighway on the wing. The Kop still sings his name.

Not a Liverpool supporter but saw him in a game for Liverpool v Newcastle in 1977, our kid being a Liverpool supporter; but he stood out in that game and in my opinion was the best player in the side that day, I truly think he was an underestimated player.

Watched many Liverpool games as a boy with Stevie Heighway with 'Gazelle' like poise on the wing. Great player and much underrated. Great coach too.

A brilliant player for my beloved Liverpool Football Club. God!!! could he ever fly down that wing. His dribbling ability, at speed, was a joy to behold. One of my all time favourites, along with Emlyn Hughes.

Fake click bait. Having watched the whole video what rumours? Met him circa 2000/2001 at the Academy we stood and chatted about a player we were watching. He and the whole Academy staff were first rate. He is a legend as a player and as person, highly cerebral. His ability much like Trevor Brooking at crossing with both feet and what seemingly was a 90 degree angle to his run was unbelievable.

When I was young , 16 or 17 , football wasn’t as frequently broadcasted in Belgium as it is now . Liverpool though , we could watch frequently . I remember the famous Belgian football commentator Rik de Saedeleer , ( nearly ) each time Steve Heighway had the ball saying …. “ … Heighway … the only player in Englands first division with a bachelor degree “. He repeated that time after time , game after game . That’s why I remember him forever

Click bait - no rumour no confirmation! Also, voice is AI (among others, reads out year 1981 as ‘one thousand and nine hundred and eighty one’!), and text obviously produced by ChatGPT, repeating ‘journey’, ‘storied’, and other cliché words. And no footage at all, no moving image! Let’s not reward this.
