Hi, I am a Korean middle school student. I have a question I want to ask the American people. My English is not good, but I would really appreciate your answer. 1. What do Americans generally think of Korea? How is it compared to China and Japan? 2. Is it true that Americans aren't happy to praise their country, and they're not angry to blame their country? So in the case of Americans, 'I'm an American, so I'm always very proud. I'm happy when someone praises my country.' I heard Americans rarely have this kind of idea, is it true?
@12coco1003 жыл бұрын
@@이진규-x5d 1. People think Korea is technology advanced country. But we dont know much about the culture. For me I know its different from china and japan but cant tell you why I just know its not the same as those 2 countries 2. And Alot of older people praise this country more than younger people. America was more fair when Our parents were young. It's clear to us that the people running the country for a long time are not good enough and dont address important issues that need to be dealt with. So we hate that part Also nobody cares if foreigners praise America, because foreigners dont praise America. Most full developed countries are better is alot of cases for normal people. America is really good if your rich of course

A friend of mine, years ago, who's built like Steve's cousin, taught me the one inch punch. He's a beefcake and I'm a bean pole. I actually threw him back. I was amazed at how effective it really is. Bruce, you're a genius.
@cognitive-disonance2 жыл бұрын
@Spodo bbb well yeah. I'm just saying i find it amazingly effective
@cognitive-disonance2 жыл бұрын
@Spodo bbb yeah, for sure not an attack. I mean when i learned it, it took lots of preparation. I'm sure that's the case for most people who learn the technique, but i can only speak for myself. And when i say preparation, I'm talking about the placement of your arm, all the way down to the fingers, your legs, breathing, everything. But i couldn't believe standing still i threw this guy, that has 100 pounds on me. If not, more. As a hockey player I'm used to knocking someone back, or down, by using my speed on the ice. So complete opposite
@cognitive-disonance2 жыл бұрын
@Spodo bbb exactly. Foot placement is so key. I'm more of a swordsman than a hand to hand guy, but even in sword fighting, whatever style/discipline, got to have your feet in the right position. One wrong step, you're done
@cognitive-disonance2 жыл бұрын
@Spodo bbb well what I can tell you that, of course footplacement is important. Depending on what hand you use. And they change based on what style you use. First, forget the hands. Use your dominant leg. I.e. I'm left handed, right legged. So even though I'm dominantly left handed, in fencing I use the sword in my right hand, because it's same leg same hand style. If that makes sense. Trust your dominant leg
@cognitive-disonance2 жыл бұрын
@Spodo bbb yes. So fisticuffs are different, of course. So for me, a lefty, I'll keep my right foot forward in bushido. Like a baseball bat, dominant hand on top, other on bottom, opposite leg forward. Certain scenarios that would be different, but in basics, that's it. But in fencing I'm right handed. Because I'm right footed. In this style it's same hand same leg. Well, in both styles I'm ambidextrous, but my preferred is lead with my right leg. So depending on the style, determines the way I handle the sword
