You almost hoped something would go wrong in his demonstrations, just to see how he'd handle it, and he always handled it well as if it were planned from the start, like it was all just a joke.

@4mIhere Жыл бұрын
And im using the same model also :D Okay I know it's max 720p but with my 32 inch TV it's very much enough. Music stream via home theater works awesome and it has compatibility with Apple TV+. And I can mirror my Mac screen very effectively to my TV via Apple TV. Okay I know this sounds like marketing a very old device but it works so good ^^ I also used to bring the device to my parents but now im just using it myself (my parent's are not very tech savvy ;P)

Covid changed things and revealed the pre-recorded format works. Nintendo pre-records their events with much success too. E3 isn't even relevant anymore, the platform holders don't need live events, why would they in the KZbin age?
@joshuamartin5085 Жыл бұрын
It’s less technically and productively challenging to do everything pre-recorded. You don’t have to worry about having issues or mishaps happening live, as it’s all done in a controlled environment

Jobs was convinced he'd "solved" the problem with streaming, before he died, if you believe his biographer. And you can kind of see what his vision may have been, with the Apple TV app incorporating other streaming apps. Prime Video is doing something similar today. I'm sure if Jobs was still alive he would have evolved his vision and truly "solved" the state of streaming we all put up with today. He had a habit of coming up with a vision and enforcing it into reality. Sadly the problem of streaming is hardly solved and we now pay more than we ever did for cable if you subscribed to all the different platforms.

In after Steve they mentioned that Scott Forstall actually wanted to continue the project but nobody really knew what Steve was thinking. They were going to create something kind of like pandora for tv using real networks but he got overruled and they did they Apple Watch instead. I think you can see a lot of hints that Steve really really wanted to break into that market.

@gullible1197 ай бұрын
Now streaming is becoming as bad as cable. You’re already paying for a subscription for amazon prime with no ads, and out of nowhere they come with an ads included subscription and unless you pay them a bit more, you’ll be having ads included while you watch a show.

By far the best reliable modern UI implementation and updates I have found has to be on KZbin when it comes to video streaming. Minimalist UI combined with better user specific AI algorithm would make the whole Smart Tv experience less crowded as well and more reliable / fun than it has come to be these days.

Completely disagree. Apple revolutionized Bluetooth headphones with zero wires, ease of use, sound quality, and transparency/noise cancellation. Before AirPods let's remember that most Bluetooth headphones still had a wire to connect the two, battery life was horrible, and sound quality was trash. Transparency and ANC wasn't common either before the APPs and if it was there it was bad. Now we're on the AirPods Pro two and the sound quality is legitimately really good And in 2021 the M1 they put it the MacBooks is still blazing fast and really and incredible thing even two years later

Steve was never good at presenting stuff he knew deep down sucked ass. (Pre iPhone "iTunes" phone, anyone?) If you've watched enough of his videos, you can easily tell in this one that he's annoyed at how cheap Netflix is, and $10/month for EVERY SINGLE MOVIE vs. $4.99 for ONE SINGLE MOVIE... he just knew Netflix was going to win this war. Just look at his wry smile when he mentions Netflix. It got a bigger applause than the whole TV thing!
