Not really, read his book.
@tinamitchell7496 Жыл бұрын
@@gogoyubari366 you read his book and you realise the actual extent of his being a truly good human being. If you read anyone's autobiography expecting to discover they were perfect, then you know it was all a lie. Jonesy is and always was a desperately damaged and flawed human being who hurt some people, but no worse than he was hurt. God knows he wishes he was stronger, more courageous, but he's survived where so many others didn't. That's called life. He's a good man.

It really is, Steve does a great job and the slide guitar adds a sense of melancholy. I've always been a fan of Steve's and this really shows what he's capable of and makes all those "the Pistols couldn't play" idiots look like the fools they are.

@@kokorozz Can't call what singing? He was the Pistols original singer. He Friggin In the Riggin' on the Swindle soundtrack, then after the Pistols broke up he was the singer in the Professionals and his solo stuff, sung some songs with the NB Outsiders, etc. I've always thought he was a good rock singer and he's gotten a lot better over the years. Steve can do anything! From awesome "punk n' roll" with the Pistols ,Professionals and Neurotic Outsiders to great hard rock (his solo material). Now he shows that he can do slower stuff superbly as well! Such a pity that such a great musician has released just a few albums...

Never thought of Steve Jones as being much of a singer, but he does a surprisingly good job with this.
@Vichedges2 жыл бұрын
Steve can sing. He was singing before he was a guitarist. He said originally the guitar was just a prop so he’d have something to do with his hands. Then he took a bunch of speed and played with records until he learned to play basic stuff. So drugs aren’t all bad kids.
@brookhoover13845 жыл бұрын

This is very fitting as Steve was hooked on Heroin for a number of years, you can tell he he is thinking back to those dark times through the lyrics of this song.. this was from the heart

@@lysanderofsparta3708 Songs can mean different things to different people. Lou was kind of into heroin and whether he explicitly wrote this “about” heroin or not it has been used in connection/linked with drug use often, like in Trainspotting. It’s a very bittersweet song.
