I can listen to Steve Jones and the Miami Vice soundtrack forever. I liked the Mercy cut and Steve Jones Video so much - I had to find his album (CD) and purchase the original album. I paid top dollar but, it was well worth it. Steve Jones selected the most original guitar and vocal selections in this song. Very impressive. Thank-you...!!!
I too found this song on Miami Vice. I now think Miami Vice was the best tv show in the use of music. So much of the show was immersed in music that complemented the video. Can't believe I haven't heard this before!

Yes agree but I think deep down he always wanted to be a rock star rather then a punk rock star. Not sure he has a very high opinion of anything punk after 78. I prefer the N. Outsiders to this though. This album is poor ( my personal opinion).

He has already stated in multiple interviews that his prime motivation for making music was to get laid (he was a sex addict at some point). So can't blame him for trying to look and sound like other successful artists at the time.

The greatest guitar player ever,he change the world with the SeX PiStOs his accurate technique of palm mute-short/fast solos-power chords with slide from half tone or mixed with open strings-pick descendent slides to reach power chords or solo notes-play with the pickup selector with the neck pup totally without volume, are now copied by almost every guitarist.and the cool level up to the sky are his trademarks.love the pistols guitar sound, the 1996 tour is the best guitar sound i ve ever heard.
