This was recorded in 1957, released in 1958. He's an incredible player. They say he inspired Coltrane enough to pick up the soprano for the first time.

Can someone PLEASE tell me what mouthpiece is he using? His solo here is one that one should practice each day! No one comes close (not even Coltrane), when it comes to his tone!
