This screams out as some 2015 retrowave track because of how *hard* it hits those 80s feels, the vocals, the reverb, the distinctive synth samples, the synth drums and the guitars... it's a masterclass lesson in new wave and nobody heard it because people were sick of this sound by the time this would've had its shot. Steve Lunt wrote, produced AND sang lead vocals for this, he's an incredible underused talent and made the flavor of The Raccoons what it was
