In the late 70s the RN sent me to St Johns and a few of us chose a Bar at random. When 8 of us walked in the Bar was full of Firemen! We didn't know the Firestation was just around the corner. Nor had we heard of 'Twofers' but a blackboard on the wall said ''two for one''. So when the waitress arrived I aid ''16 beers please''. Shortly afterwards two waitresses arrived with 32 beers!

It's Nova Scotia, as in New Scotland, you need to visit, specifically Cape Breton, which, I believe, has the largest Gaelic speaking population outside of Scotland.

You two killed a lot of brain and liver cells on that crawl. 🤕 Mixing booze, sweet drinks and beer was a near lethal combo for me back in my drinking days. That was some serious drinking that night and into the wee of next morning plus the 'nightcap' at the hotel. Alicia must have been thrilled to be ID'd although she does look young (and you look younger than your bio age too). Must be all the alcohol is preserving you two. I hope Alica does videos of her visit to her homeland of Poland and hope you are there for part of it too and do a Polish Pub Crawl.
