This has taught me 4 things. 1: I should stop being so lazy. I barely walk more than 5 miles now. 2: I really should get a head touch. 3: It's nice to see people still excited by where they live. 4: I'm not the only one who has recently thought a walk in white trainers would be fine.So much mud! lovely video, even though I have been up all these hills (not in 1 go!) It was very nice to watch👍🙂

It was delightful to join you as you led on by foot through the seven hills of Edinburgh. You burned up heaps of energy that I cannot muster up anymore. That's one of the beauties of technology that wasn't available to us when I was just a lad, and brimming over with endless energy. Now people like you and your lassie can share your adventures with us. And please never forget that. We who are not so young any more are an appreciative part of your global audience. And we're loving it by crikey!

You 2 sure are very fit people. One hill a day is enough for me. It is good to go around the quaint & delightful beauty of Edinburgh with you. As you enjoy walking up hills I think you might find Humphrey Hill interesting for videoing. It overlooks Old Kilpatrick & Bowling on the western outskirts of Glasgow. HH is the steepest road I have ever walked up. The River Clyde looked as though it was on a slant from side to side from the top of that hill, before it turns off towards Loch Humprey; it must be an optical illusion.

I've done three of the seven hills when I've visited Edinburgh (Arthur's Seat, Castle Rock, and Calton Hill). I preferred Calton Hill to Arthur's Seat, all are still very impressive. I used to live in an area just outside Nottingham, called Carlton which is at the top of a massive Hill. Calton Hill just reminds me of where I used to live due to how it's spelt and how it sounds 👍

What a fantastic video. One of the best I’ve seen. Beautifully filmed, informative, and some fun to boot! Was that the soundtrack from The Birds in the creepy forest? 😉 I have to compliment you on your editing skills as well, the music wasn’t blaring in relation to your voice… no need to keep turning the volume up and down, a pet peeve. Your video inspired me to do this yesterday (couldn't have asked for better weather) with my partner who is from Edinburgh and she now thinks I've seen more of it in a day than she had up until now. Was great to jigsaw piece the different bits of the city I know together. We detoured to take in Dean village and back onto the water of leith in between Corstorphine and Craiglockhart (our fave view), refuelled by coincidence in that very same Tesco and kept Arthur's Seat for last. Bit strange it isn't an official trail as it really is a tour of the city. Love your videos and great to see your channel growing!

The Royal Mile should be packed with tourists and bustling with activity, now it's almost empty and dead. Walking from the centre to Corstorphine ? That's a very long walk, I did that once . Now I would have taken the "26".

Very tempting to hop on a bus! Yeah, it’s both good and bad to see Edinburgh so quiet!

@@steve-marsh I stayed with a (late) friend on Drum Brae though neither he or me were ever tempted to climb Corstorphine Hill and certainly not Arthur's Seat. Still remember the bus lines : 26 or 86 limited stop from Princess Street.
