If I recall correctly (at my age, the mind tends to get a bit fuzzy), he had a closing skit on this special where he thanked the audience for inviting him ‘…into their living room…’ A few moments later, a Producer handed him a note listing the ‘…people who didn’t invite him to their living room.’ He then goes to each house asking the homeowners ‘why not?’ U have to see the scene to appreciate it, but wow, what a LOL funny skit.

Sad to me that i see no comments about the fact that the legendary Carl Reiner was one of the sportscasters. He was a huge part of much lf the comedy deceloped in sitcoms in the fifties and sixties. They didn't try to make him overtly funny in this show because part of the humor was for the audience recognizing it was HIM impersonating a then well known sportscaster.
