This guy is talking complete bullshit. Things can go the other way around your positively geared can be negative. Negative gear can go positively depends on alot of different circumstances. His just been lucky investing in the right time due to his age. Lets say if he had done the same thing in another decade maybe things could have gone south.

People were saying the same thing about successful investors 20 years ago. Guaranteed people in 20 years time will say the same thing about people now that are blind to the opportunities in front of them because they don't look exactly the same as 20 years ago.
