Same experience hear from an 18 year old. Grew up on this. Old music, no matter the genre, has new school beat on so many levels, and they have to. Nothing to touch up voices back then. Nobody to coach the greats of all genres. They are the pioneers. Too many old artists to name, but this band, lynyrd skynyrd (Jax native, gotta mention em) and then rap artists like nas, Tupac, and even into the 90s with Joey badass and early 2000s with Mac miller’s upcoming. Old music will always hold a place in my head and my ears for years to come.
