I was always sorry that this song never got radio play like take the money, rockn me, jet airliner, fly like an eagle got. Its probably his best song. Certainly his best guitar work

One of the best concert I ever saw in Tucson was Steve Miller in the 80’s. He rocked the building.

Saw the band play this at the OC Fair, a few weeks ago, they were outstanding. Steve is such a great guitarist, he's one of my heroes.

Lee Fagan this song should have dominated the radio the way that jet airliner, the joker, take the money, and so many others did that were on the greatest hits album. This was such a great tune

Anyone ever notices this guitar 0:09 resembles the arrangement from Joe Walsh's "Rocky Mountain Way". The whole song is in the same key and tempo as that song too.

I dislike when artists change the song. I listen to this practically everyday and they went from E-D-A to the lamer E-G-A. The D-A is the whole song ffs. Probably the bassists idea. D-D-D-E-D-A NOT D-D-D-G-A. Grrr

And I researched this similarity on line as far either band noticing it or pointing it out - NOTHING! Actually Rocky Mountain Way preceded this record by a year or two. Kind of like a near miss by two 747s over Kennedy and nobody(even the tower) notices - legally that is.
