This is both very sad and heartwarming. Steve should have been in the HOF long before this ugly disease found him. It’s great to see the guys all together

I agree I guest guys like Roger Craig, Torry Holt and Lester Hayes either be disable or in heaven when they get the call. The writers can be very harsh and display neopotism when voting. They should allow players to vote

Steve should been the man he was once was and talking and tell everyone thank you for the opportunity to be in the HOF cause if he was a great Player he be talking and cheering with the boys and able to talk but May Steves Communication Rest In Peace since hes only communicating by yes or no by eye shutting that he understands still

Even as a die-hard Lions fan, I am so happy that Mongo has received this special honor while he’s still with us. He was a damn good football player, and this is well deserved!

God bless you , it's nice to see that after all these years you are finally Inducted into the hall of fame. Sending prayers for you and your family allso , it would have been awesome if they could have done this a lot sooner before this disease had gotten to you. Again, Congratulations on your induction in the hall of fame. God bless you we're all praying and pulling for you Mongo. It was also nice to see that your teammates were by your side on this induction of the hall of fame and telling stories. Take care Mongo DA Bears February 2024.

Had to watch my Dad go down laying there like this and now my childhood heroes. So hard to see people once so strong and full charisma be brought down to near nothing. Hate it for them. I don’t know how I’ll b able to take it myself. Godbless Steve and family

It’s the reality of ALS, one of the most awful diseases which exist. It needs far more funding and research.
@nick5667710 ай бұрын
ALS is definitely one of the worst diseases ever. Like Mongo here, he is 100% aware of what's going on,but can't move, can't talk, can't get an itch, can't turn over from aching. U r trapped inside of your permanently immobile body while being fully self aware of everything with no way to express anything while u feel yourself dying more every day.
