Right about when this was made in the early 1990s, I saw Steve Morse Band at a great club in Seattle called The Backstage in Ballard. This was right when the godfathers of grunge were all ascending wildly into the big time with record contracts. Almost all of the guitar luminaries were there (Thayill, Cantrell, Gossard, McCready etc) to witness the Master Steve Morse in action. With the mighty Dave LaRue on bass and Van Romaine on drums of course! Heady times.

Steve crossed so many lines. Some of his acoustic work reminds me of Windham Hills stuff... Michael Hedges etc. I am so glad I saw the Dreggs. An Epic band !

Here's a good little story, I saw him giving a clinic at guitar center in San Diego. He started to play Vista Grande and about half way through I looked at the crowd and everyone had tears in thier eyes including myself. To witness that song live was a true treat and a privelage. It was so beautiful!

Scott Henderson, nice fella. Often a guest lecturer at my school. Jimmy Herring was my instructor. He was heavily influenced by Morse now he’s a huge name himself 🤷♂️

Hello Marije !....all these compilations of Steve,s work with Dregs material, SMB material are incredible.....I always loved him in Deep Purple but it's here with his own material and his several own styles that you can understand how Steve is just awosme with electric or acoustic guitar...I met some guys fan of DP said Steve is a very good guitar player but they prefer RB...I can understand that to see a band like DP with all originals members is great but these guy heve never listened how Steve is different with his own material....For me Steve is a so sweet, funny human being with a guitar technic of a Terminator !!! AWSOME !!!

its amazing how many guitar players started with that animals house of the rising sun lick and of course the reason is most of the major chords are in the song so its ideal to learn on

WOW! Truly one of the true virtuosos. I saw Steve at Cardi's in Houston back in late 70's early 80's. Why wasn't he on the G3 Tour with the greats of Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Eric Johnson...? Unless he passed and I didn't know???

GrericPoperic7 three years later, here it goes. The song is called Morning Rush Hour, from Coast to Coast album. It's been a long time that I'm searching for this tab. It's really hard to find something about this track. I can't understand why, because it's an awesome track.
