MY all time favorite band, have seen them about 14 times and once again tomorrow at the Canyon club.Steve always comes through as the nicest, coolest guy on top of being one of the greatest guitarist of all time. I still listen to Freefall and think I finally have all the parts of Refried funky chicken under my fingers!

Morse has got me thinking with that coffin remark. I wonder if any musician ever actually died of old age on-stage?

Colonel Bruce Hampton. Funny, I met Morse at the '89 Namn show, played with the last rhythm section of Sea Level, hung out with Rod one night when I was jamming in the Little 5 points pub in Atlanta, Steve Davidowlski original keyboardist of The Dregs became one of my closest friends to this day, met Gregg Allman in St. Augustine where he begged me to buy one of his 6 B-3'S, oh and I played a lot with Billy McPherson aka " Ben Pops Thornton " with Bruce Hampton. Oh the good old days in Atlanta and all around the rest of the World being young and dumb and full of c.m. . Now everyday is a gift.
