2007 Western Conference Semi Finals Game 1
The Spurs drew first blood in the series. Steve Nash poured in 31 points and dished out 8 assists but it wasnt enough as the Spurs were able to escape with the pivotal game 1 win Phoenix. Steve and Tony Parker collided heads late in the 4th. Parker was fine after a few minutes but Nash cut his nose open. He couldn't stop the bleeding enough to stay on the court for the rest of the game. He checked back into the game to score a big 3 pointer and a layup to bring PHX within 2 points with 1 minute to play. He started bleeding on the court so he had to be placed on the bench until the bleeding stopped. The Spurs expanded the lead to 110-106 with 10 seconds left and the ball before Nash was able to come back in. Without Nash on the court for the final minute, the Suns scored just 2 points on Amare Stoudemire free throws. This was the much anticipated rematch of the 2005 WCF. Most of us knew the winner of this series would win the title that year...THIS WAS THE FINALS as far as I'm concerned. I am a Spurs fan, but I feel for Nash here. He couldnt play when his team needed him most.

Greatest moment ever was the nose bleed moment against the spurs. Dude came in for 5 minutes and hit like 3 threes to keep the Suns in it all while his nose was gushing with blood. I remember goin to school the next day in Phoenix and everyone had a band aid on their nose. Dude was a warrior and an inspiration.

I'm been a die hard Spurs fan since David Robinson and seen all great PG play from then tell now. And I can honestly say Steve Nash very well might be the greatest PG I've witnessed. Steve nash has always been a tough person. And steve nash has always been a nice likable person too. Steve nash has always been the face of the phoenix suns franchise, and he definitely deserved to win a championship with the team that drafted him. I so wanted the suns to win a championship, the suns have came close many times to winning a title, but it's their defense that has kept them from winning a title.

The firt series they had i think was 2005 and that series was LEGENDARY. insanely good games. but this one was marred because of strange injuries and all those Phoenix players getting suspended. Back when the Suns still had relatively decent uniforms. I don't know what they're wearing now. Something a European soccer club would have hanging in their lockers. Though the Suns really should return to the 90's Sunburst jerseys they had when Charles Barkley was there. The black alternate ones were particularly cool.

I was at this game. The crowd we went insane in the final minutes. The Spurs played incredibly rough throughout the series and yes, you can blame the refs, including Donaghy, for for allowing this to happen. No other year were the Suns as fearsome on offense as this year 2007. This year they were truly robbed by a less-skilled dirty-playing Spurs team and the dirty refs who were rigging the over/under of playoff games. Heres to the PHX 07 champs title shouldve been instead of the dirty spurs.

I still believe he would have taken less to play with legitimate contributors. Considering what the city has done for him (and vice-versa), I think he would have taken a minor cut to get better talent in the city. I'm speaking from a Phoenix Suns perspective. You can't say you're not bitter about losing the opportunity to get a borderline All-Star 2-guard to put next to your franchise PG.

98: the Suns got spanked, they couldn't handle the twin towers. 01, Dirk was a matchup problem but Nash got manhandled the whole series. '03 Dirk got hurt, '05 Joe Johnson got hurt, and of course the '07 suspension. In '08, Shaq was a step too slow guarding Duncan. We all know what happened in '10.
