Steve-O doesn't do stand up comedy, he does one man shows with some jokes mixed in. I'm not sure how this is lost on him, that is why no one considers him a stand up. Steve-O if you want to be recognized as a stand up then stop adding stunts and videos to your "hour". Do an hour of just jokes and people will consider you a stand up. The problem is Steve-O knows, and all of us know he can't do that despite the chip on his shoulder of "not being taken seriously as a comedian".

Listened to almost all of Steve-O's appearances on other pods where the hosts afforded him so much respect and all he knows how to say is "you guys are doing great numbers here" and tell the same 20 stories. I understand self-promotion, but treating every podcast like a press tour has been unflattering. He can't riff or "yes, and" with anyone. His bucket list "special" is him repeating the stories of his stunts he has told on every podcast for the past 3 years with a couple of tags and then showing the footage. I don't think he's a bad guy at all, but a comedian he is not. He's also so wrapped up in being brand-friendly that he will step on other people's jokes
