I think Steve was right about his decision having had extensive back surgery myself I had the surgery and still hurt every day so I don't blame Steve at all for wanting to try everything he could before having surgery it was Steve's body not Neal and Jon"s it was major surgery no one in their right mind wants to have that done until you've tried everything else than surgery is your last option I can about guess Steve has some pain still because arthritis usually sets in with this kind of surgery

@vickie OAKES ... I agree, Steve made the best decisions for himself and his health ... the surgery he finally had was for his hip, not his back ... but he did have a lot of pain and I'm glad he took good care of himself ... and now I'm thankful he is OK and has come back with his amazing new music 🎶 ... Steve Perry is still such a talent and he always has been ... forever The VOICE and forever gorgeous and sexy 🔥🔥 !!!

I had nothing to do with his hip or surger... and just as a note you know those are all "stage names" eh. Like we are all from Windsor Ontario The bass player the keyboardist and Dino the Guitar Player all live in the same Columbia Courts in Windsor Ontario at Partington and Third Concession I was born on Curry Perry

Most times Journey songs sounded the same live with the exception of a very few like Lovin Touchin Squeezin which was overproduced and sounded like Perry's voice was altered sonically for a more pop sound Perry could never sing Lovin Touchin Squeezin live the way he did on record Do you Recall a similar thing and Journey opted out of doing Sweet & Simple for obvious reasons overproduction besides Evolution Journey learned to keep it simple no pun intended to perform the songs live

You're ALL LEMMINGS!! This is NOT Perry's voice, his vocabulary & tone are diametrically opposed. Perry has NEVER describe any music are "virtuosity", especially TWICE in 1 statement . . Perry was much more a flower child, not using 5 syllable words. NOT his tone, voice, nor his range. NO tin foil, just a singers & muses ear. FAKE INTERVIEW = FAKE news. :)

This is Steve. His voice has changed as he's aged - it's gotten a little higher and raspier. Even his laugh is higher. The way he sorta smacks his lips when he pauses, the way he takes deep breaths at times: It's him. And Steve is very meta, so yeah, he uses "5 syllable words."
