People like this don't come around often and I'm ever so glad he found the courage to get back on stage and let the rest of the world share in his special gift. He genuinely seems like a very deep and introspective soul, not something we place a lot of value on these days. I was lucky enough to have grown up with Journey and it does me good to hear his voice again. No one sings about love, hope or loss anymore, not like this guy.

The “Traces” album is truly a reflection of people, places, feelings and moments that have touched Steve Perry’s life. There are only a few people in this world who can put feelings into words and compassion in their voice the way Steve Perry can. I think that’s why his music has stood the test of time. “Most of All” is definitely one of my favorite songs on the album.

Steve, all the pieces of your broken heart are back together again because of your promise kept. The visuals are so stunning. I am writing this at 3 a.m. and I really should try to sleep but I am too overwhelmed. It's good to see that you emerged from your deep pain and out of that came this beautiful music and we are all so blessed to be hearing that voice again. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I was honored to have seen you in concert in 1995, and if and when you tour, I might not be that lucky again but now I have Traces which I will treasure. Keep enjoying life on your terms.
