I read an article about Steve Perry who went into isolation for a long time. He met someone, married her but tragically, she died of cancer; she made him promise not to go back into isolation anymore. And he wanted to be with her taking care of her. And then later when they all reunited he broke his hip. I honestly think he was afraid of the surgery which is why he kept postponing it. He'd likely do a serious service to any Journey songs should he ever choose to cover them. There was a reason Queen picked him. Basically bcs he can do their stuff justice. She was out of her league here. I'm sure she's good, but very few people have the vocal skills to cover Perry.
