What this man has given me throughout my life cannot be expressed with mere words. Steve is nothing more than an ongoing work-in-progress just like everyone who's ever been born and who will be born. As he said, he's stumbled and fell like the rest of us and has also accumulated wisdom as a result. We learn what is important and what to let go that bogs us down. The sad fact is most of us live far too often within the confine of thought which keeps us from experiencing each moment as it happens. Be present, friends, it's all we really have. Steve is so freaking deep! I love him and his soul so much! As he's aged and gone through so much in the past, he's finally able to open up to his fans, and wear his heart on his sleeve. We know him now, in a way we never knew him before. He's always been a private guy. I could listen to him talk for hours. We get to know him now, as a soul, a human being with feelings, and a person that has gone through pain himself. Just like every human. I love getting to know the man he is today. I'll love him forever ❤. He is the reason I started singing rock at age 10. I credit him for teaching me the vibrato technique at a young age. Riding around on my bike with my red cassete player hanging from my handlebars, as a lonely kid that came from an abusive, broken home, singing along with Journey. I'll forever be thankful to Steve for being there for me as a kid when no one else was. If I never get to meet him here on earth, I hope to meet him in the next life. ❤ I'd love to sing with him. 🥰
