Welcome to New York! It's standard behavior. You get used to seeing celebrities. A lot of celebrities like that about NYC over LA that there's less public attention focused on them. HOWEVER, if I had been there that day and seen it was Steve Perry, I would have fallen all over myself trying to find something in my purse to get Steve Effing Perry's signature!!
