Muy interesante este documental sobre la vida y obra del más grande fisiculturista de todos los tiempos. Quiero aclarar que actualmente tengo 77 años, y cuando yo tenía 13 años, por primera vez vi una película de este gran señor Steve Reeves; que fué la de Hércules, y desde entonces me interesé en tener un cuerpo como el de él, y me metí a entrenar en el mundo de las pesas, y aunque nunca logré tener un físico con el suyo, nunca decayó mi entusiasmo para conseguirlo. Actualmente sigo haciendo ejercicio, porque este Señor el gran Steve, ha sido mi inspiración para que nunca decayera mi entusiasmo. Cada vez que me sentía cansado bastaba con mirar una fotografía de Steve para que me inyectara energía y ganas de seguir adelante. He visto todas sus películas muchas veces y no me canso de disfrutarlas. Fué y ha sido una inspiración para muchos fisiculturistas, que han tratado de emularlo y seguir sus pasos. Dios lo tenga en la gloria al gran señor Steve Reeves.

I grew up watching Hercules (Steve Reeves) movies, and still have DVD movies of Hercules (Steve Reeves). To me - he was a role model, and still is. RIP Mr. Reeves.

I've LOVED Steve Reeves since the 60s. In 2000 while walking to work, 1010WINS all news made the announcement that Steve Reeves had died. I stopped in my track...devastated. To me he is the one and ONLY Hercules. No one comes close. Not to mention DEVASTATINGLY HANDSOME.

He had a god like physique, just absolutely perfect, Steve had the whole package he inspired me to train. I remember the legendary Sergio "The Myth" Oliver say that Steve had such a perfect physique, everything was in proportion & he was good looking as soon as he was born. They don't compare to Steve this days.

Fantastic documentary!!! What stands out to me, being a follower of BB, is that he lived to 74 years old. Over the past 10 or so years, many BB's have been dying way younger than that. Male and female! Food for thought!!! Basically, if you have to pile on the gear cycles and inject your muscles with oils to make them look bigger, are you really bodybuilding???? Or are you really cheating yourself and the people???

Yes on the gear you are bodybuilding but it is certainly not healthy and that is one main factor for lifting so yes I get your point in a round about way

Reeves had a couple of Italian stunt doubles who would go on to 🌟 in movies, 1 was 20 year old boxer who would appear shirtless in Castle of Blood & go on to have 300 credits over decades, rancher Reeves taught him how to ride, would come in handy for his own career in spaghetti westerns.

Something that nobody talks about Steve and separates him from the rest is his face, his face was as perfect as his body and that puts him on another level from the rest of any bodybuilder in history, 100% perfect genetics, not even Arnold was close to that.
