I feel like a lot of people out there don't understand Steve Rogers. Everyone I ask who don't like him, answered with "He's so perfect", "He's so clean", "He's so flawless". I feel like these people are offended by Steve's principles of being a human being and treatening others as human being as well, because they don't do the same. With others and with themselves. Steve is about being honest with yourself, being straight and loyal to yourself and therefore your closest friends and allies. It's not about being "so perfect" and don't crushin rules, no. It's about being kind, about standing up for your believes in a world which wants to destroy you. That's a goddamned strenght. It's so good to see a video, which really makes me SEE Steve. His passion, his principles, his pain. Thank you for that.

Spot on. This is why Steve and Tony conflict so much. Tony always felt untouchable until he was kidnapped by terrorists so he feels his armour is needed to protect the world and he fears making the same mistakes. Whereas Steve grew up so vulnerable and weak with a desire to fight evil that when he did receive his strength he had already abandoned fear. Tony is like the people you refer to who hate Steve "Sometime's I wanna punch you in your perfect teeth." He is riddled with the guilt of his actions and his fear of not protecting that which he loves whereas Steve leaps into battle like a perfect, fearless soldier fighting for truth and justice and that offends Stark. By contrast Steve dislikes Tony's cavalier attitude and brazen persona and wishes he would have more humility like he does. Such depth in their conflict :D x
@lucieb63096 жыл бұрын
No. When I say I don't like Steve Rogers, it's not because he's without flaws or clean or perfect. It's because he pretends to be. And he's not. I would have more respect for the guy if he didn't systematically acts like the most righteous man. Because he's not, he's been wrong many many times. But the MCU never seems to have him pay for his mistakes. The others pay. Not him. And yet everyone keeps following him and believing him. He's a good man, but he's flawed, and he won't admit it. He's not perfect but he acts like he is, like he knows better, and like he should be the one making the decisions that end up affecting loads of people around. That being said, I do think he's a good man, with the best intentions at heart. I just don't like his selfishness and his hypocrisy

versena Okay. I didn’t wanna spoil anything. But I’m thinking he probably will die. Chris Evans has been Captain America for a very long time, and he has talked about how difficult it is to maintain the shape he needs to be in. Imagine needing to stay in peak physical shape for years. Hugh Jackman had the same problem, as time went on and he got older Wolverine kept getting ‘bigger’ look at Jackman in Days of Future Past and compare that to Logan and The Greatest Showman. It’d be a good opportunity for Evens to step down from the MCU

This is so powerful and represents Steve so well. The use of Zombie by The Cranberries is perfect considering the message behind it. There will alway be collateral damage with War and politics. But Steve will always stick up for the little guy even if it kills him. While everyone else is too blinded fighting each other. The song represented one countries political unrest back then but continues (sadly) to be relevant today with the entire worlds unrest. If only we could stop fighting. ☹️

God this is so amazing. Steve really was a zombie for years after the ice. Just fighting because someone pointed him in the direction of a fight. What was in his head? He blocks himself off from much of connection because of his disconnect with the new world. I also love the brutality of this and the anger because we know Steve has so much anger, but he pushes it down. And I love the “child is slowly taken” and you showed his younger, preserum self, as the current Steve watches him go. As if he watched his innocence disappear. And of course, “it’s not me” and Steve is at the threshold of the family home, realizing it’s not for him.

I think Thanos just to be a dick uses the Time stone to age up Steve which leaves him down. Afterwards the Avengers find a way to hear Thanos and get the Gauntlet. Tony uses it to reverse the snap but dies in the process and the Gauntlet breaks. When the dust finally settled they realize Steve is an old man now and they can't reverse it and so he just retires passing the shield into Falcon or Bucky

I hope mjolnir somehow returns and helps steve against thanos As in age of ultron he was the only one who could lift it but thor (we don’t know if he couldn’t lift it because as long as you even budge it with not much strength you’re considered worthy) But it doesn’t give him lightning powers just enhances his strength and speed and allows him to fly And then he dies while attacking thanos with mjolnir to the point of even killing him
