I have fond memories of his Nexus comic with Baron. It was always a treat to read and savor it. My all time favorite character. Perfect blend of sci-fi and humor. A genius!

Toth, Manning, Kirby, Nolan... and there's also some Kevin Maguire in there too. It's kind of an amalgam of all of these influences, or maybe cross-pollination! Love me some Rude Dude. His clean, almost like advertising illustration style has been in my mind since that World's Finest comic that he did with Dave Gibbons and Kesel and Oliff.

Steve Rude has a support system because he is bipolar. There's a documentary called Rude Dude that looks at his disorder and the complications it has caused him and his family. A super talented artist constantly dealing with his demons.
