This generation of Legacy is one of the best, especially with the sedan style. Do you think the cars transmission mounts could handle a 300 HP EJ20 swap to an automatic transmission without any welding modifications?
@saucepanclangerclub20353 жыл бұрын
What would the engine produce at the crank? The best thing about this restoration is being tasteful enough to keep the original-diameter wheels that would have been used in its era. Gold suits this model well. So many great classics are being ruined by giant alloys that destroy the proportions, and many new cars have become instant eyesores for the same reason.

@@velez910 What's bad about that statement, out of curiosity?
@velez9104 жыл бұрын
@@SuitOne I got the biggest cam doesnt actually tell you anything. The cam is a extremly complex part of the motor and any engine builder worth there salt could tell you that is wear you start a build. You could call it the brain even in the day of the computer as that cam will dictate when to fire the ignition system. Sometimes the big cam is not the right cam for the application
@SuitOne4 жыл бұрын
@@velez910 Ah okay, so him saying "I got the biggest cam they offer" wasn't a farse statement due to there always being bigger cams, but because that's not necessarily the best way to build the car.
