What a most beautiful voice B.J. Thomas had and will always be remembered for. His voice and songs were the best in the 70s when I was a teenager and have not been forgotten ever. In fact I only bought B.J. Thomas All the Hits Ultimate Collection CD the other day and have not stopped playing it. It is something else and his voice was too. So sad that he is no longer with us what an absolute legend!

All those old time talents - thank you, thank you, thank you, for thrilling me over and over. I just cannot get enough of this song. We listened to it on AM back in ‘72., but I was too young and stupid to appreciate the tenderness and vulnerability of a 16 year old mother and her newborn.
