Sitting back with a smooth glass of Bourbon and listening to this smooth masterpiece is what life is what life is all about. Takes me back to April 29th, 1988. Skyscraper Tour in Kansas City. I drove to St. Louis the next day to see B.B. King play in a little bar with about 50 people. Told him I saw you play the night before. I'm guessing he already knew you, because he had a lot of good things to say about you. Peace!

Dear Steve, i remember when it all started back in the 80s, some folks disliked your style as cold and technical overkill. I guess you´ve proved them all wrong. After having the chance to see you live a couple of times here in Germany, i must admit that i have never enjoyed any concert more than these. If I'm not mistaken you are on man from utopia, In the dangerous kitchen it's an amazing Guitar walking and talking song by Frank...... And actually that was the 1st Frank Zapp album I ever listened to courtesy of my older brother. While he was Out with his friends on the weekend when we were younger and living at home with our parents still I would sneak into his bedroom and i would listen to His records. anything new That I hadn't listened to was on my agenda as long as he didn't come home and catch me. But he was already a huge fan of Frank Zappa in high school in the late eighties early nineties. Now I believe man from utopia was the 1st album that I listened to even before apostrophe or Overnight sensation.And the 1st live music I heard From Frank was the helsinki show on the "You can't do that on stage anymore" sessions. I have it on vinyl🤙! I need to find a copy of your first solo project, Flexible.... On Vinyl! Who was the drummer Flexible, TB? And I never listened to Alcatrazz, I assume the album you were on was Disturbing the Peace? DIDN'T know Eddie Kramer produced the album. I'm sure that was an honor. I always liked the stuff he produced, Jimmy Hendrix & kiss! How was Jan Uvena on drums? Oh yeah one more question is there a live album from start to finish you did with Alcatrazz. Or are there a few songs you appear on.....curious. thanks Steve! Keep producing quality music out of the UMRK! God bless brother!

Wow, we lost one of our longtime family dogs the other day and it has been hard to get out of the funk from it. I haven’t been able to pick up a guitar or be creative at all. Just trying to be supportive of the wife and kids.
