I screwed up and popped the E break spring off. Is there a tool I can use to squeeze that spring together and install it?

Try using a vice to compress the spring then zip tie it very well. Here is a link to fellow owners discussing what they did to fix the issue. Some even ordered a new caliper. Hope this helps. I did not find any links to tools that could fix this problem other than vice grips and channel locks.
