Fitting Leighton OEM sidebars as soon as it stops raining, didn't realise you have to cut the undertray so good to know.

@@SteveField luckily it changed from rain to dry today, all fitted, pretty easy to do, was worried you said you had yours on the wrong way round. Mine looked the same either way so just guessed. How did you know they were the wrong way?

@@matthewlaw8268 Glad the weather let up so you could get them fitted. oh, I meant i had the actual brackets on the wrong side which meant that the bars did not protrude the van after resolving they actually protrude from the sides quite a bit .

Excellent video, but are running bars the most pointless accessory, decreases ground clearance, makes the van more difficult clean, and lots of bracketry to go rusty !

My name is Chris and I have bit the bullet and bought a Candy White T6 and, inspired by you, I have started to modify it. I have the side bars coming but wondered how did people spot they were back to front? Does that mean you had to turn them around or swap sides? Love the channel mate….. keep an eye out for the Candy White St John’s Walkies van….. more mods to follow 😊

I put some of these side bars on my t4 laser cut easy fit brackets the add said!! What a load of rubbish the brackets are ill fitting with all these bars I’ve now got a t5 and wouldn’t touch side bars again they are a pointless accessory you could do without 👍

Yeh, No I do use stands normally if you see in my other videos but if you look again I didn't remove the wheels and i'm not really underneath the vehicle its just the camera angle but I appreciate the heads up!!
