@@tomtdubz okay so that went like a complete shit show haha the template I had didn't line up one bit and ended up drilling the holes twice haha should have listened to the guy above who said don't drill holes hahaha anybody know a welder??? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 used Sikaflex (tiger seal type stuff) instead lol

Useful but invest in some cone drill bits for drilling sheet metal and center pop mark the desired hold first.

Please don’t drill holes in your van, just use adhesive. You will get future leaks.

Useful video! How easily can you remove the spoiler? I am buying a van this week with a spoiler but want to remove it to fit a bike carrier. AS far as i can tell bike carriers need to fix to the top edge of the barn door which is no longer accessible with a spoiler fitted. would really appreciate your thoughts.

It’s quite easy to remove.. but of pull/shove.. but could take a while to clean up the glue.. depending on which one was used…

Any need for the rubber gasket on there? Fitting mine this weekend and as you point out its less flush with the gasket on. Decided to just go with puraflex40 on mine, no drilling

@@tomtdubz cool, yeah just removed one of the gaskets and the fit was a lot better. Not sure of their purpose unless its to stop water getting to the holes and I'm not drilling so will leave them off. Cheers

Stanly blade… little bit of thinners, an then panel wipe.. the scotch pad the paint to rough it up slightly if your not using the fixings.
