Absolutely spot on! It’s true that stepping outside our bubbles can be intimidating, yet it’s essential for growth. I once hesitated to join a new group, fearing I wouldn’t fit in, but taking that leap opened up amazing friendships and opportunities. Humor can be tricky in social situations-sometimes a joke flops, or the timing feels off. I joined the Sense of Humor Improvement Program by Habit10x, which taught me that laughter is about connection, not perfection. Embrace the discomfort; it's where the magic happens. Keep pushing those boundaries, and success will follow!

if youre disciplined and you know how to schedule your time, you can easily get 8 hours of sleep in and still achieve a lot.
@nemplayer17765 жыл бұрын
Getting enough sleep is actually really important for your health. It's a misconception that you can get 6 hours of sleep a day and still be okay, because you can't. After around 2 weeks of sleeping 6 hours a night, you'll find yourself not being able to function normally - you'll be tripping over stuff all the time, you'll be spilling glasses of water, etc. Getting enough sleep is crucial to having a healthy life.

I only sleep 5-6 hours a day, less if I must, and I’m as healthy as ever, yeah I get a little tired, every one does, that when I’ll perhaps have a quick power nap, then I just keep on pushing, I’m only 20 years of he, I’ve been doing comedy for 3 years, performing for 1.5 years, and been using this habit for at least 8 years of my life, I went from a special needs student, to an A grade student I just never gave up. Now that I’m older and have aspirations to become a big time stand up comedian and actor, I just don’t give up, don’t sleep on my dream, lots of late night early mornings, studying and perfecting my craft, performing, writing etc and al whole looking after my health through going to the gym every day, and reading to keep the mind active, and always keeping God with me at all times, I don’t believe in 8-12 hours of sleep cause that’s half your day gone, on sleep.

Lebron James sleeps 12 hours a day. The Williams sisters sleep 10 hours. It depends on your activity level. You need more sleep after a stressful day just as you need more after a grueling physically exhausting day. It's a myth to believe the body needs just a set number of hours of sleep. Like most things in life context matters.

Yes. That's what I was saying - If someone wants to be successful, than being sleep deprived is counter-productive to that goal. The brain does not function well if it is not well rested. And if it isn't well rested, it won't work as well as we need to it too.
@isaiahsmith85236 жыл бұрын
@Inthelight Online "Sleep is a very specific state of your brain. If you don sleep at all, your brain will stop functioning properly and eventually makes you completely disfunctional. Rest is different in the sense that your brain is not recovering in this state. If you don take a rest you'll feel exhausted (physically), but you can still function (well, maybe not run a marathon). Rest is sitting on the couch, but intensively reading a book for example. You brain activity can be quite high. In sleep you more or less create a a different state for your brain, which you need to simply survive. Brain activity is not necessarily low, but if thereś high activity it's in different parts of your brain. Sleep is more a necessity as compared to a rest. You can keep going at a slower pace for a very long time. No sleep will kill you eventually...." Who are you to refute hundreds of years of scientific data lol? You keep resting....

This! I also believe that most often people find themselves not even in their "comfort" zone; more of an accustomed zone that isn't even comfortable at all - just familiar. I just did a video on this because the mindset behind making the shifts that will get you unstuck and out of that accustomed/familiar zone could actually result in you being more comfortable, but headed in the right direction. 😮
