This was real pain I felt going back to Ghana’s slave castles...I could feel my ancestors on me... Powerful beyond words that I can explain. I encourage as many of you as possible to go HOME for your ancestors. Their strength is in each of us and we must honor their ultimate sacrifice in all that we do. #TheYearofTheReturn 🎥: @madebycourtney

The Negroes are Israelites (God's chosen people) and the Africans are Hamites. We are NOT the same people. The Israelites are special to the Most High above ALL people on the earth. Deut 7:6. The Most High Almighty said that he would return the Israelites/Negroes back to their land. Amos 9:14-15. Jerusalem is the Mother Land NOT Africa. Galatians 4:26. Wake Up Israelites/Negroes and read the Bible because it's your History Book!!!!!!!

It's 400 years since his ancestors left Africa. Do you honestly think that its the same surname from one of his ancestors that left the coast 300 years ago. Honestly! African Americans are also very mixed with European blood. Hence their appearance doesn't always resemble Africans that are still in Africa - things like height, facial features and skin tone will vary. Also. What makes you think he is 100% Ghanaian descent?! He would have so many heritages (Sierra Leonean, Nigerian, Togo, Benin, Cameroon, Senegal, Mali, Ivory Coast, Congo!) because of the history of Black Americans.

@@ansh0133 the tallest people on earth are Africans don't get it twisted. Yes, most black Americans are mix but the truth of matter is, light skin is prominent in Africa as well, you will see couples with dark skin but their baby or child is light skin. The biggest ethnic group in west africa are the fula or fulani people and majority of them are lighter in terms of complexion than afro Americans, and as for the name 'Harvey' is just a mere coincidence but what she said is the truth, most voltarians are lighter and pale complexion, and they are hundred percent black Africans, They are not biracial or mulattos. I relocated to The Gambia W. Africa 1 and a half years ago. Many Blacks from around the world are returning and positioning themselves for the growth that is taking place here. There are many opportunities here to build business brands. Celebrities like Mr. Harvey are waking people up to their roots. Thanks for sharing. If anyone is interested in visiting The Gambia which is the home of Kunta Kinte I would love to show you around.

Please know that Ghana was the slave coast . Very few of our ancestors were from Ghana. They were captured from other areas of west and central Africa. The slave coast is where the slave trade and housing of slaves took place.

Hello Mr Steve Harvey I just stumbled on your Ghana visit video, as exciting, emotional it was,I believe blacks people in diaspora particularly in USA, Latin America, sets up a body or Committee and start to talk, to ask questions as to the reasons for the continue barbaric racist behaviour towards black people from white folks. It's about time we start talking to really get to the bottom of the reasons for bad behaviours towards black people and see if there can be a way forward. I believe a whole lots of things will come to surface when people begins to talk. I urge all blacks in USA & across d world to continue to show love towards our white brothers & sisters even in d face of provocations. Love always win in d end. Remain blessed bro

There is something about Ghana that makes me feel whole when I enters the country. I'm not worried about being shot, cops look like me who most often will listen even when you're wrong. If you want to experience real freedom of life, a country you can fully raise your children to experience black essence, you can never go wrong with Ghana. God bless Ghana and the continent of Africa.

I’m from Senegal and we have another island called Gorée that was also used as a barbaric house of slave. Even as an African I’m devastated every time I see these places so I can’t imagine what it feels for actual descendants of African victims. My great grand father was approached by the government to be sent in those boats but he escaped and we still feel grateful that he escaped that lifestyle and hence we enjoyed generations of freedom which was robbed to Steve Harvey
