He has one of THE best male voices. It’s technically perfect! He never misses vocally. He has total control of each register of his voice! So much passion!

Watching him snap back into character so easily once the song started is incredible. I keep going back to watch it again, you can actually SEE the moment Robbie emerges again after so long. That's spectacular.

In a just world Pasquale would always be in a Broadway musical as this man's talents are immense and should be enjoyed often.

This man REALLY knows how to sing for maximum impact with the lowest possible effort. He sounds exactly the same as he did on the original cast album.

Ah.... there is effort. The fact that he makes it look effortless is where he is simply magical. A great storyteller. That voice is just ......

@@singerAR0406 Of course there's some effort. But almost no excess pressure or tension. Most people wouldn't be able to stay so chill about it.

Steven Pasquale shows that a sex symbol is about more than just being pretty, he presents so much grace and ease in his talent, humour, charm and yes, intense physical magnetism.

I'm over here smile-weeping about it too. What a stunningly beautiful image from what I thought was going to be a throw-away line.

This performance made me immediately buy tickets to the show’s off-Broadway revival 6 months later. SUCH a good song.

I saw the original production. Faith Prince played the lead’s sister. I think Roger Rees was the lead-the opening number was beautifully staged and fun. It’s based on an indie film. The show went nowhere in terms of box office. I think Steve’s recording of Bridges of Madison...is one of the best I’ve ever seen and his co-star was Kelli who is watching this.He also does a beautiful rendition of If you loved me online.

I’m so glad Stephen Pasquale reminded me about this song! He did it beautifully. And, tbh his Irish accent is pretty decent.

I always felt this show got far less attention, and recognition, than it deserved. Is it also possible that Mr Pasquale sounds better on this song today than he originally did? The lower key really works for his power belt on the higher notes.

What a wonderful singer and performer. I’ve been rewatching Rescue Me and I keep wishing he’d break out in song. I think he does in the final episode. His singing technique is flawless.

Honestly, his numbers in Rescue Me are hilarious.

In this context, I envision this as an older Robbie looking back on his youth and talking to his son about the fun times he had when he was his age…sort of as an opening number to the rest of the show.

Just saw a local performance of "A Man of No Importance," which led me to Mr. Paschale on the original cast album, then, to videos of the recent Jim Parsons-led Off-Broadway production, which led me to this. Anyone know when - and where - this tribute to Christine Baranski was, and...WHAT WAS THE PREVIOUS PERFORMANCE BY ANDREA MARTIN HE'S SPEAKING OF when he steps up to the microphone?!?!
@asnalelo.165 Жыл бұрын
All the other Miscast performances are up on my channel. This Baranski tribute was the Miscast gala, May 2022. At the Hammerstein Ballroom at MCC.
