Pay attention to the way Steven moves the camera and characters around in a scene. Massive skill.

You are welcome. The subjects are out of frame from time to time since I wasn’t looking through my phone as I was filming on purpose since I wanted to watch with my own eyes, but at least people can hear it.

Thank you for uploading this, I was hoping someone would since there was no way for me to be able to go to this, much appreciated!

Glad you enjoyed watching. I definitely wanted to share it with the world since not everyone could attend. It is poorly recorded visually, as I held my phone low not to block my view or anyone else’s, but at least you can hear it well.

@@NYCelticSoul Oh I totally understand, plus I didn't need to see anything since they weren't doing anything but sitting.

My pleasure. Sorry for not keeping them in frame all the time. I was on purpose looking at them with my eyes and not looking through my phone which I held low.

"Duel" won the Grand Prix International at the Festival d'Avoriaz, which used to be a famous horror and sci fi film festival in France. Many french critics and european critics and movie fans really thought "Duel" was awesome and incredibly directed for a so young director :) Oddly enough, this is for me a comfort movie, that I watch once a year ! I LOVE everything about it : the tension, the cast, the light, the vintage look of it... Regarding "Sugarland", I'm also a fan, but I understand why it was not a success, because of its downbeat ending and the general tone of it, which is a mix between the "new Hollywood" maestria and an independant satire of the American way... But it is Spielberg's first real cinema film ("Duel" was made for TV first as everyone knows) and it is one hell of a start :) After that, like Lucas who made "American Graffiti" (and of course "Star Wars") after "THX" and then had his first major success, Spielberg had the genius to make "Jaws" to reach a wider audience :) Anyway, I'm a fan of Spielberg since my childhood and finding today your vid is soooooo cool for a french guy like me !!!! So thank you for sharing this magic !!!!! :) You made my day man !! :)

Thank you for your comment. I wanted the world to hear what Spielberg had to say. That’s why I recorded and posted it even though it’s a bad recording. 😅 At least you can hear what he had to say all the way in France. Glad you enjoyed it.

@@NYCelticSoul Your recording is not that "bad" don't worry it has just "cinéma vérité" inspiration 😉😉😁😎

lol. So true! I noted in the description that I often did not have the subjects in frame as I was watching purposefully with my own eyes and not looking through my iPhone that I held down low to record so not to block my view or anyone else’s behind me.
