god what a good trip down memory lane. I didn't get into the show at first because I thought it was just kind of dumb. That cat episode realllllly turned me away from the show. I tapped in right around Jailbreak happened and god what an episode. One of CN's finest for a reason. Steven will always bring back good memories. You make me wanna rewatch the show again

I tried watching it in 2022 and I cringed hard at the first episode and never looked back Untuil.. This March, I decided to power through it since all my favourite shows had ended. I loved it.

At first I thought you were talking about the episode where Garnet and Steven find a litter of cats, and I was thinking, “But I thought that was a pretty good episode. Why were they so turned away by it???” …And then I remembered the *other* cat episode.

26:45 "I'm sorry.. Shame on me" 😆 I definitely regret being too hard on that show back in 2014-2015ish. Thanks for the fun retrospective and the huge nostalgia hit. I find myself missing the 2010's nowadays and few things take me back to it more than Steven Universe.

@@socks456 Short answer. The roundtable in my honest opinion make absolute nothing burger videos about shows they like. Which in of itself is fine. Just not my cup of tea. But the long answer is that it's more about AwstruckVox and the things he's said and done. From giving someone with cancer grief about getting noticed and some insider scoop from Rebecca Sugar herself (Albeit he didn't know they had cancer) To recently, telling someone they would die in a plane crash because they made a light jab at Toonrific Tariq.
