I cried the first time this song came out on the show, I was at the point of my life when I wondered "why bother anymore? I'm doing bad in school and feel like I'm just letting my parents down." I wanted them to have that same pride in me that they do for my older sister for getting in college on a full ride scholarship and doing so well on her own. But then when this episode of Steven Universe came out and I was watching it, I never felt more at ease with myself.
